Select Australia has released 16 AFL Premiership Predictor cards in each AFL season between 1997 to 2009 (Except one Premiership Redemption in 2004). These predictor cards are randomly inserted in the packs, odds: 1 predictor card per box, 16 teams’ Predictor cards are available. If the team won the premiership, you can redeem the winning team’s Predictor card for a limited edition AFL Premiership card. As only 1 predictor card per box, and 16 teams are available, the chance of getting the correct Predictor card is 1: 16 boxes. This odds imply the rarity of the redeemed limited edition premiership card. Between 1997 to 2001, the winning predictor card will redeem ONE limited edition premiership card. From 2002 Select AFL exclusive to 2009 AFL Pinnacle, the winning Predictor card will redeem a limited edition 3-card mini set. From 2010 AFL Prestige Series onwards to 2017 AFL Certified, Select has released just one AFL PREMIERSHIP REDEMPTION card instead of 16 AFL Premiership Predictor cards. The redemption card still redeem a limited edition 3- card set (+ one signature card in some series). From 2018 AFL Legacy onwards, the Premiership Predictor cards habe been back to 18 team again.
