1996 Heritage Cricket Players Edition Signature Card: #46 Norman O’Neill (1 card). 1996 CRICKET HERITAGE SIGNATURE CARD COLLECTION was released by Futera in 1996. Many collectors believe that this set is the most significant piece of sporting memorabilia ever produced in Australia at the time and the collectability has been enhanced ever since its release. Heritage Cricket set is a 60 card set with 58 signature cards involved. 500 numbered sets released by Futera in conjunction with Catchers Sports in 1996. These 500 sets were released to general public. Each set bears the same number for all 60 cards. No doubt that the Heritage Cricket Collection is the set to collect. This series is beautifully designed and produced–featuring in date of birth order 60 of Australia’s greatest cricketers. These cards were produced on double mounted 480 gsm board, equal to a 960 gsm board. There are also 200 sets of Cricket Heritage Signature Collection (60) Players Edition were released. This players edition signature card set is exactly the same signature cards set as those signature card set released to general public, but released exclusively to the cricketers who were included in the series. Also, there is a PLAYERS silver foil print word on the back of the signature card to replace the number. As only 200 sets released, it is hard to find the players edition heritage signature cards.
